Dragon Age Inquisitor's Chamber

The painting is a study of a screenshot that I took while playing Dragon Age Inquisition. The place in the painting is the Inquisitor chamber/bedroom or whatever you want to call it. It's this beautiful place located on the top floor of one the fortress's towers.

This place is where the hero of the third game from Dragon Age series would rest, sleep, read or study. I've always considered this particular room exceptionally beautiful. The whole game is of course a pleasure to one's eye but this location is probably where I'd like to spent some time if I had to pick one. It has plenty of windows that overlook the majestic mountains around which the whole fortress is located. The light coming through the open window is as cold as the snowy mountains and the warth emitted from the candles and the fireplace gives a yellow light that beautifully contrasts with the fresh light blue tones. This gives me a sense of cosiness of the room but also this open window invites some cold air into this room which is probably very refreshing and that togheter creates a wonderful atmosphere.
Though I must say I've always wondered how rich the Inquisition must be if they can afford opening windows while having a fire in the fireplace (waste of resources, duh 😄).
